United States Veterans Initiative

HomeAid Houston again partners with Ryan Boyles of GB General Contractors, Inc. and Lynne Jones of Lynne T. Jones Interior Design, to provide space design and interior decorating ideas for the day room and adjoining restroom at the United States Veterans Initiative's Mid Town Terraces facility. This US Vets complex provides shelter and services to 300 homeless and formerly homeless men who have served our country.

  • Lynne Jones and Lindsey Simpson of Lynne T. Jones Interior Design -- providing all the design work, color and furniture selections.
  • Ryan Boyles, GB General Contractors Inc. -- Remodeler Captain -- securing all the labor and coordinating all the labor and materials
  • David Weekley Homes -- donating beautiful model home furniture from their model at The Falls at Imperial Oaks
  • Home Depot Foundation - donated a $5,000 gift card for the project, to purchase tile, paint, new toilet, sink, mirror, faucet, toilet paper holder, paper towel holder, microwave and coffee pot for the "snack center"
  • Adam Metzler at Best Buy - they are discounting two flat screen televisions, video game consoles, blu ray player
  • The Green Built Gulf Coast committee, with sponsors Dow, Environments for Living and Blue Gill, for their contributions through their Green seminar; this money will go towards purchasing the electronics at Best Buy.
