HOMEAID CONGRATULATES GHBA PRISM AWARD WINNERS
October 14, 2019

HomeAid Houston is grateful to be able to work with so many generous members of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), since the agency became the GHBA Charity of Choice nearly 15 years ago.  These partnerships have been key to HomeAid's success as they work within their mission: To build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach.  Many of these organizations, past and present, were honored at the October 5th GHBA's Houston's Best PRISM Awards, with many of them winning multiple categories.  Houston’s Best PRISM Awards is an annual event designed to recognize excellence within Houston’s homebuilding industry and to support their efforts. The year’s award recipients were chosen by a panel of premier industry professionals from around the country.

The following is a list of HomeAid builder partners and donors: Newmark Homes - The Grand Award winner for Volume Builder; Sneller Custom Homes & Remodeling - The Grand Award for Remodeler and Caldwell Cos. - The Grand Award for Developer.

Additional award winners were: Chesmar Homes, Trendmaker Homes, Land Tejas, Taylor Morrison,  Howard Hughes Corp., M/I Homes, Darling Homes, Eklektik Interiors, Howard Hughes Corporation, The Signorelli Company, Holcomb Properties and On-Target! Marketing and Advertising.

"The GHBA's PRISM awards honor the best of the best within the building industry," said Patrick Mayhan, president of HomeAid.  "It is truly a privilege to work with so many professionals who share in the HomeAid vision to add much needed beds for those in crisis."

HomeAid is a 501 c 3 charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association. The agency was started in 2003, and the first shelter was dedicated in 2005.  Since then, 54 projects have been completed.  Annually, HomeAid's projects serve over 5000 homeless men, women, children and veterans in Houston.
